Competitiveness through Information: History and Current Affairs
The Division of History of Science within the Romanian Committee for History and Philosophy of Science and Technology of the Romanian Academy, in partnership with the Institute for Intelligence Studies and Strategic Analysis and the Intelligence Studies Center for Security and Applied Geopolitics, has the distinction of inviting you to the academic symposium titled Competitiveness through Information: History and Current Affairs.
The event will take place on Thursday, September 14, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, at the House of Scientists, located at 9 Ion Lahovari Street, Bucharest.
Held under the aegis of World Science Day for Peace and Development, the meeting will integrate presentations dedicated to the strategic issues of information, complemented by landmark editorial launches comprising specialized volumes and journals.
During the second session, researcher Mihai Ganciu, representing Ferrodynamics Systems Bucharest and Detonal Inc. Florida, will deliver a scientific presentation dedicated to a major innovation in high-voltage pulse technology, namely nondestructive ferroelectric generators intended for industry, defense, and fundamental research.
